Obama needs to be consistent with his campaign "Change" slogan by not keeping Bush's lackeys when they clearly are doing more harm than good. Instead he should appoint persons like Cheech & Chong or Cypress Hill to head the DEA who are truly experts in the field of drugs

Michele Leonhart is bit of an expert in the field - she's a career agent in the DEA, starting out as a Baltimore City Police Officer in 1978.

She's been in the DEA for many years and received a Presidential Rank Award for Meritorious Service from President Clinton in 2000.

While I don't agree with her position on Medical Marijuana - I don't think she's a Bush lackey either.
Someone like Leonhart - was at the DEA long before Bush 43 and will probably still be there after Obama leaves office.

Back when Andrew Jackson invented "to the victor goes the spoils," the US government was like a tiny chiefdom in Barglestan compared today's huge bureaucracy. To rip everyone out on January 20th of the day the new President takes office would be hugely chaotic. It's like an ant trying to move a refrigerator across the floor. Change can come, but it WILL be slow.
