I'm sure there will be clips available later. And for those of you west of the Eastern ZoneWow! That sounds kinda Orwelian, You can catch it in a few minutes. I really like seeing him under these conditions. Anybody can look good for a few seconds, and you can call me an Obamabot all you want, this guy is so comfortable in this setting. I am so sure that we made the right decision.

And the last question they asked him, he gave the same reason that I did the same thing. Only a different substance. The question was, (paraphrasing) you quit smoking, when Osama was killed did you sneak one. He said no, and the reason he quit was to set an example for his kids. I don't care what people say, he is the real deal. Without any doubt, in my mind, he is the candidate I'm backing. That I will work for and who I give money to. I have NEVER contributed to ANY candidate. EVER.

Thanks for the reminder! I went from a triple platelet donation Sunday to two sign-waving GOTV events yesterday, a job interview, an impromptu discussion with a local city commissioner that was DEEP, a sign wave this A.M., and one more this evening plus the election night results party. I was going to bed for a few hours, but I can wait 1 more hour for the CIC.

Glad I stayed up for that! Great showing for the pres. Now I must sleep. They've figured out I'll do anything they ask in the final election push but I plead 'need nap' so I only have until 2 before they're threatening me with a phone list and then a final sign wave from 4:30-6 followed by the results party.

Yep. Oregon votes by mail so it's more like election final day. Many races on top of the ticket are unopposed but down at the local level the TP has thrown down some challenges. I'm directly backing a former state house leader who is retiring that seat to run for the county chair. We have a good county chair running again but we need a procedural whiz to put down all the oddbal motions they like to throw out to kill "spending" projects like supporting the replacement of a 90 year old bridge that helps our residents get to Nike and all the jobs to our east. But geting out the vote is critical since they've put stuff on tje ballot like killing the library one town over and such and turn-in was under 26% as of yesterday.

Good. Looking forward to it. Bad news locally with results and my mind is turning on all the things I'd like to try and accomplish like not being the only Dem PCP from the oldest city in the west anymore. The Tea Party is strong here.
