I know most of you out there feel and know what's going on in our country, or you wouldn't be here, or listening to or reading who we do. But something beyond our comprehension, is coming up real fast on us, and I think we need to talk about it! The toss the thug Scott Walker to the curb election is right here, just a few weeks away. All we hear is IT'S CLOSE, the Republicans have outspent the Democrats 25 to 1, and Walker holds a slim lead over Mayor Barrett. But THANK GOD, that we aren't the ones all in Wisconsin being bombarded by the biggest, smelliest, wet, slim filled pile of SPECIAL HIGH INTENSITY TALK, $-h-i-t, that has ever been dropped on one state and it's people. The evil ones, the corporate whores, the money bags, the pimps, the low lifes, the scum of country, THE KOCH BROTHERS, the ONES WHO HOLD THIS COUNTRY BACK, are all there trying to confuse those wonderful people in the Badger state. But what these FOOLS don't know is that thousands of these FIGHTING BADGERS, are laying low, hiding in the shadows, chomping at the bit, and WAITING like Captain Barbossa in that last Pirates of the Caribbean movie, and Rocky Balboa, for that ONE SHOT! ONE SHOT TO MAKE GOOD! And hopefully without a FLORIDA 2000 happening again, they will rise up and end the nightmare known as SCOTT WALKER, THE KOCH BROTHERS, AND CITIZENS UNITED, all in one poison filled swoop! But if the other side should win, we know it still is not over.

Ed Schultz, Randi Rhodes, Rachel Maddow, Thom Hartmann, and many many more, have educated and informed us for the past year about this great Midwestern state and it's little situation it's gotten caught in. But like Ed says, THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION OF THIS NATION UNTIL NOVEMBER! THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING! There will be no phony Bush purple finger crap, but their will either be tears of sorrow, or people actually ROLLING OUT THE BARREL! We've seen the lowlifes pull almost every low down trick you can pull, to steal this election, that state, the power of the people, hell DEMOCRACY AND THE CONSTITUTION ITSELF, from those people's hands, hearts, minds, and souls. And they still HAVE MORE TO COME! MILLIONS MORE PLUS THE IDIOTS KNOWN AS FOX NEWS! And we've also seen a bunch of hard working, not gonna take any more $hit, folk run these bullies almost out of the state to the point where they had to close the capitol building, issue warrants for Democratic legislators, because the people rallied by the THOUSANDS, then recalled some of their punk asses! AND NOW WE WAIT!

I sit here in Michigan, in a state that is almost gone. IT HAS NO DEMOCRACY ANYMORE! It has a dictator governor, and a rubber stamp Republican state legislature passing unknown laws to keep us from voting. We in the major cities, which just happen to be occupied by minorities, fear not even having the chance to vote in November. But I also fear not having a chance anymore, like Wisconsin has to turn back the stormtroopers of hate and greed. Like the Republicans against Obama for the election, the state of Michigan has put it's one egg, into a basket with holes on both sides and the bottom! Because if Wisconsin can do it, MICHIGAN CAN, OHIO CAN, FLORIDA CAN, AND ALL THE REST CAN! Wisconsin is the light at the end of the tunnel!

Now there is a chance we can lose! And we know what could possibly come later in November if they beat us in Wisconsin. And we know that if this happens, June 6th will be one dark, damp, and wet depressing day just like in 2000 after Bush was declared the winner by the Xtreme Court, and just like 2004, when John Kerry wouldn't challenge Ohio's twisted voting results. There will be no grass growing,no birds singing, no money coming in, no smile on people's faces, no hope, and no joy, bills, and we will somehow pick ourselves up to go on to the next day. And the Bill Withers song "AIN'T NO SUNSHINE", will be played. I was gonna go with Crazy, by Patsy Cline, but we know from history what happens when that song is played!

BUT IF WE WIN! The birds will be singing, the skies will be sunny and blue. The cats and dogs will be hanging together. And that grass will grow, the money will fall from the sky, and people will have the biggest smiles, and laughter will be heard as we party on like it's the CLINTON ERA! And we shall take OLD MAN MOMENTUM with us all across the country, and work him through President Obama's reelection, so that we can run all of these EVIL TEABAGGERS and FASCIST CORPORATE PIGS out of office, out of lives, and out from keeping this nation in a HOLD OF RETARDATION since 1980! We will have a lotta work to do, but you gotta start somewhere! Oh yea, did I mention the song from the Wiz "CAN YOU FEEL A BRAND NEW DAY" will be played in the background, while we do this?

So like the rest of you, I SIT AND WAIT, AND I PRAY! And if some of you don't believe in that sort of thing, THINK GREAT POSITIVE THOUGHTS then! GO TO YOUR HAPPY PLACE! I know these Badgers want it bad, and I know we all want it for them. LET'S STAY COOL AND CALM!

Mayor Barrett is going down to defeat again, will there be more sit ins and protests at that point? What state will the Dem Senators ride off to hide in? Your entire state should be ashamed. What a colossal waste of money.

Personally I cant wait for Walker to eliminate all unions, all workers rights, and most teachers.

My kids been raised, I dont need teachers.

Yes, Wisconsinites should be highly ashamed - of electing Scott Walker in the first place. Now they're in the process of rectifying their mistake.

It's too bad we can't recall governors in Florida, or we'd be doing the same thing to Rick "Skeletor/The Mask" Scott as well.

Professor, I have had a great deal of time to figure this out.

They hate Obama solely because he is Black and for absolutely no other reason "that they can identify or articulate" - sure they can spout Roger Ailes and Karl Rove talking pukes, uh I mean points, like he is a socialist, etc, but that is all and of course there is no substance to those.

Walker represents a white bigot, like them, who will oppose Obama and those pesky government workers, like teachers, cops, firemen/women, etc....dumb, hateful people with misdirected anger are very bad for mature politics.

While class warfare is most definitely an issue in Wisconsin I think trying to read racism into it might be too untenable to be of any use to the recall effort.

The Race Tightens and The Big Kicker is That The John Doe And Walkers Criminal Defense Fund are being highlighted and it's working against Walker.

President needs to go whether it is a risky move or not...

I know they are apprehensive to go, campaign against Walker, lose and have it look bad for them, but i think this is too important for that...

Tonight on Cspan, I watched the Wisconsin debate. What I saw from Tom Barrett, was a pissed off, highly informed, pesky Badger that scratched, kicked, and punched Scott Walker all night long in his pebbles! Creepy Scott, stuck to his think tank written script, like he had a BUSH DEBATE EAR PIECE, on! That guy's eyes ARE COLD AND DEAD, AND THEY NEVER MOVE! He is just like Eric Cantor, and Paul Ryan, they are DEAD ON THE INSIDE and have NO SOUL! Scott Walker never, and I mean NEVER, answered a question. He kept going to this fictional CLINTON like MAN ON THE STREET character, to use as an example for his point of view. But the more he opened his mouth, you knew he was pulling a GLEN BECK, and pulling it straight out of his ass as he was making $#it up! That dude is SICK, needs to be off the streets, and away from mankind!

I WAS HIGHLY IMPRESSED with Tom Barrett, and wish we had a guy like that here in Michigan.

P.S. I think President Obama should be there on election day, to urge the voters on as they go into the polls to send Scott Walker back to the DAIRY QUEEN! They say he's worried that if he shows up, he'll draw all the right wing nutbags out to Madison. I say be there on the day it matters the most. And win or lose, they'll know they finally have a President who despite Axelrod and Emanuel's BAD 2011 advice to stay out of it, WHO HAS THEIR BACK! And if they win, he might want to be around for the party!

Your post is the second post in this thread. What I read from your post is that you didn't read the first post.

You talk about Wisconsin with rhetorical questions then you state, "Your entire state should be ashamed."

Adam the author of the opening post wrote, "I sit here in Michigan..." It was adorning the top left hand corner of a big rectangular paragraph. You wouldn't have miss it, if you had read the opening post.

You should be ashamed. I can see it's likely a colossal waste of time talking with you.

If unbelievably, Wis votes him back what thoughts can we have that are positive? These anti union people apparently dont realise that w/o unions they wouldn't have time to post here. They would be working 7 days/week in company houses with company script.

They are complete morons, and worse is that just because karl rove spends X amount of dollars on any candidate, that candidate can win, americans are dumb (many of them, not news, but for krists sake people)

Watching Rep John Lewis today talk about Selma and his book, made me stop and think for a minute, and one thing he said was kids today wont see the signs from those days/Jim Crow stuff etc, he said to see that stuff they will need to buy a book or go online and look at older videos, he said it with such conviction, he knows something i dont...

that is what i am doing, learning what gives him that level of certainty ...whether it be civil rights or workers rights, there is a history and strength we can draw from
