Seems like it was only yesterday that Allen West was a hero to the teabaggers. One lousy vote, and he's the enemy? Just like Sen. Scott Centerfold Brown. Just like any formerly beloved nutjob who has the audacity to put country before crazy, even if only for one split second.

Too bad for Allen West. I guess he's learning that while he may be "Steadfast and Loyal," the crazy people who swept him into office are anything but.

So, I suspect when POTUS comes out with another jobs proposal, he's going to go back to being an asshole. BTW, they haven't addressed jobs once. And Congress is where legislation comes from.

Comments at that top link are pretty funny. Somebody pointed out the S&P reasoning for the downgrade, then a fiscal conservative came in to spin it and the dogs turned on the con. :lol:

Rep. West considers leaving Black Caucus after anti-tea party remarks


The statement that pushed West over the edge was spoken at a Miami town hall event on August 22, but only surfaced in the media Wednesday. At the town hall, Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN) said that the tea party considered African-Americans "second class citizens."
