I know, I just started watching it, I know...who knows what the overall show will be like, what message if any it sends out even if unintentional...

I dont usually watch mob shows like Soprano's or shows taking place in earlier days, the lead actor Jeffrey dean Morgan, when he first appears on screen i woulda swore it was Brad Garrett, i.e. Everybody Loves Raymond...

In another scene he asks the union leader to leave his hotel alone because if he doesnt he will go broke, go broke? Paying a living wage will make you go broke? Liar, what it will do is mean you will have to get by with 2 ferrari's instead of 3...

I know it is make believe but it pisses me off

The anti union hotel owner is a fucking saint, offering to help his Cuban chef to get his family to America before Havana falls, etc.

I just saw another scene where he assures the union guy that if he has to comply he will go broke...this is the main message seems to me, whether this is being done on purpose or not, that is the message, and a bigger lie it could not be...
