You don't know what to call it Randi? I know exactly what to call it. It's called an Auctionocracy. And we need to build a movement around that term and launch it right at the right winger spin machine. They'll collapse like a round of Angry Birds.

Wow, these two today, if you werent a Cher fan, you have to be now...

I like the comment about rubber bands on shoes.

I just signed up to follow her on Twitter. I've never really paid a lot of attention beyond her music, but she is one intelligent woman!

Awesome interview Randi! You and Cher make a good team.

"What would Cher do?" tee shirts made by Sheri Elf are so cool that Cher herself even has one.
I am an admirer of both Cher and Sheri and just wanted to share. I have one too!

thanks and welcome!

A good conversation. It’s too bad that the Republican party has to sink to the lowest common denominator in order to reply to someone’s opinion. Bullies! I guess that’s why Romney was their choice. He knows all about being a bully.

As far as Trump in concerned, this is a guy who went bankrupt 4 times and is still looked at as being a viable business man. He’s a guy who has nothing to do all day and is clearly bored with himself, so he gets involved with politics, which is something he is a proletarian at. And he gets camera time only because he pays for it. Otherwise, he’s nothing interesting.

I hold Cher entirely, personally and solely responsible for my absolute obsession with bare midriffs. Through those urgently important formative years for me, 1970 - 1974, she first intrigued me, then drove me absolutely wild with her "exposure" of same. It's just something that probably shouldn't have been shown to a 12, 13, 14 year old boy - many times in an hour, the belt line slipping lower, and lower week, after week, after glorious week.

Where was the Family Television Council when I needed it?

Randi, I haven't really posted here before, but I felt I had to this time. Cher's comments about Romney were entirely legitimate, and Trump certainly had no basis for calling her a "loser." If I had the forum you do, I would remind Trump that both He and Romney started out inheriting their millions, while Cher earned every penny of hers.
I was a Republican for most of my life and, to be truthful, I don't agree with many social stands that the Democrats take. But I became entirely ashamed of my party as I've seen it taken over by radicals and right-wing crazies, and I no longer vote for their candidates, as I've seen them become more and more surrealistic as they plummet further and further into some paranoid realm they've imagined up for themselves.
I must support President Barack Obama in the face of this insanity from the right...and as I've watched his decisions and seen his results, I find I have no problem with this support. He has EARNED my support, regardless of the spin and outright lies my former party is frantically spewing, as he puts their inadequacies and lack of support for the citizens of our country in stark relief.
Keep it up Randi...and I apologize for my former support of the right wing. I can't help but feel I'm at least partially responsible for the current insanity which burdens us.

you are a REAL man (or women)! Love this.

Quite your a-belly-achin'. You and I are about the same age. I needed Cher's bare midriff in my life. Her's and Goldie Hawn's. Two of the best things about the seventies

Their whole grand scheme can be summarized by calling this plan what it really is, and that's to end our democracy and turn it into an Auctionocracy. That term is easy to remember, everybody's familiar with auctions, and they know what it means. And that's something that can stick in the back of anyone's head while they listen to the news, read blogs, and consume media in general. Changing the way people see things is the beginning of ending the right winger stranglehold on American political discourse. Obama's and frankly the Democratic Party's biggest problem is they don't know how to reduce big ideas into small, simple sound bites and key words that proliferate so well when Republicans do it to us. Everything the Republicans have done over the last 30 years has pointed to this scheme. It's time to give it a name, like Randi has been trying so hard to do, and make it a part of the national vocabulary. That little word is super-loaded, and will spark debate and education about the right wing's master plan. And that will effectively take down their house of cards. Because once we are all on the same page, it will be so much easier to target their plan, and stop it no matter how many ways they tried to sneak it back into the national interest list.

You don't know what to call it Randi? I know exactly what to call it. It's called an Auctionocracy. And we need to build a movement around that term and launch it right at the right winger spin machine. They'll collapse like a round of Angry Birds.

CHER! I guess I shoulda been on the RRMB and been warned of the coming of the Goddess!
It sure caught me by surprise.

I was asking my other half.."Is that really Cher? THE REAL CHER? OMG, That is sooooo cool!"

So, to my delight I was overjoyed to hear
The GREAT CHER talking with
The GREAT RANDi :randi:

It was a heartfelt and sincere conversation smothered with truth.
I plan on changing stations and catching Cher again on iheart KPOJ at the bottom of the 2nd hour!

Loves me some Cher and Randi!
