I still have the hots for PJ Soles as Riff Randell and who was that teenage bombshell who played Kate Rambo?
Listen, X, you stay the HELL away from PJ. She's MY girl, see? WOT, you wanna start a rumble?
Kate was Dey Young, and she's still around! Mostly a day player, but she's fighting the good fight. Every girl I went to high school with wore those same ridiculous glasses, things that were each the size of dinner plates! But I do remember being astounded with her make-over near the end of that flick, one of those librarian-to-vixen conversions.
KATE BEFORE

But the REAL hottie of that movie was a glorified extra, but it couldn't have been made clearer that she's the one Arkush was banging. She's known as the "red leotard girl" - the first wardrobe she's seen in at the movie's opener - though as one of PJ's supposed back-ups she had a character name that was virtually never spoken, Cheryl. Her name was/is Marla Rosenfeld, and for decades a mini cult has revolved around her.

She really was exceptionally pretty, and was always dressed very provocatively, albeit with a decided "disco" tilt. And no matter how little she had to do with the scene at hand, Arkush ALWAYS had her on camera very close to the action. He adored her... until the shoot was over. Far and away the hottest girl in the movie, leaving PJ in the dust. And I adored PJ. (When Bill Murray took that spatula to her in "Stripes," I was bereft with envy and jealousy.)
The RUMOR is that Leotard Girl is now some highly-renowned, exceptionally talented cancer researcher and radiologist on the east coast. But I dunno if that's based on fact, or the dearth of those who can be found on the web with the same name.
R&RHS was ALSO my introduction to the delightful and altogether perfect Mary Woronov as "Principal Togar."

God how that woman has made me howl over the years
But let's not give short shrift to the men of R&RHS, including Vince Van Patten, who basically played himself:

And "THE UGLIEST MAN IN SHOW BUSINESS," Ron's bro, Clint Howard
