Regardless of recall, Walker may face indictment
by David Shuster, current.com -- June 03, 2012

Quote:
According to government lawyers familiar with a Milwaukee criminal corruption probe, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is now a "target" of the investigation.

The legal sources, who are not involved in Wisconsin's recall, spoke on condition of anonymity. They said Walker faces "serious legal challenges," including "a possible indictment," regardless of the election results on Tuesday.

was listening to Joe Madison this morning, and he was discussing the black and hispanic/latino vote in Milwaukee County (?) and the enthusiasm was low....listening to some of the callers from there, it sounds like a typical mid-term regarding african americans, coupled w/ the fact that many AA's probably don't think the recall election will have anything to do w/ them....here's hoping the folx making phone calls and goin door to door are also doin that in Milwaukee County....

actually, turn out in Milwaukee is OVER 55% so far, at around noon. that means we win. also, madison dane county turn out will be 80 - 88%.

so we win. i am sorry, but we win. that is my belief. every voting location turnout is showing well over 50% higher than Presidential year election turnout.

we win.

Not sure where he's getting his information from but I've been hearing about requests for additional ballots and voter registration forms in predominantly AA areas of MKE. Perhaps Madison is trying his hand at reverse psychology?

Dirty tricks, wow...are they lying to people, cant be

http://wegoted.com/blog/default.asp?NID=1482

Quote:
The dirty tricks are in full effect in Wisconsin. Wisconsin voters are reporting receiving robocalls that claim voters who signed recall petitions or voted to recall Governor Scott Walker are not required to vote again tomorrow, June 5th. This is incorrect information. Regardless of whether you signed petitions or voted previously, you still need to vote tomorrow in the June 5th recall election.

I just want to take a moment to let ALL our brethren in Wisconsin know I'm thinking about you all day today, and hoping this comes out as we know it should. I'm sorry this long-planned, movement of destruction by the Right had to begin in Wisconsin, but it had to start somewhere, and thus far you guys have proved you are up to the challenge.

Your accomplishments already are mind-boggling and unprecedented, successfully initiating the recall of a governor and several members of the Senate, and I'm enormously proud of THE PEOPLE in the state of my birth for doing what I previously thought was impossible.

Thanks for standing up for all of us, and for providing such an inspiring example for all of us. Now keep it up for just a few more hours, after which I wish there was a way for me to get every last one of you a beer and a brat, or perhaps a beer-batter fish fry down at the Eagle's. Mod knows you all deserve it.

Just got an update from UniteWomen.org:

URGENT Wisconsin voters: If you were turned away from voting in Deerfield, GO BACK. GAB has intervened.
Please share far and wide!

I'm not sure what this means, and this is the only information I have.

 no, this was from yesterday's show, prior to info on the Rev. Jesse Jackson and black pastors canvassing the neighborhoods to get folx out to vote today....apparently, the turnout is higher than 2010, when all those anti-Obama dems sat out the mids because the President didn't walk on water like he didn't promise....

You’ve got them on the ropes, Wisconsin. Now, go vote and finish the job.

welcome to WALK-KOCH-ONSIN

What a mouthful.......

sorry, it is hard to believe it is legal to call the election when people are still i line waiting to vote.
this is just insane.

i am still just full of shock and want to throw up when i think about what happened last night.

the best is when my sister sent a message to me on FB that said in response to the walker win: "now that's fiscal responsibility" .... personally spending 60MILLION DOLLARS for that public office seat is just criminal and borders on insanity.

this election just reeks of voter intimidation.

also if the WI EXIT polls say that OBAMA would win in WI in NOV....then how the fuck did walker win in wi last night? this just does not make sense, in a real world environment. i think we are the looking glass and every thing is ass backwards.
