Look at the way its pathetic Progressivism is dying before its very eyes...

And the last thing Progressivism will see before the light in the beasts eyes is extinguished are the Gadsden flags marching onward to victory...

To be clear this post was split because the rules of this forum prohibit posting solely to sow discord, which it seemed was the intent in the place these posts originated, Joe Black.

Please review the rules of the forum before contributing further. We do not exclude people by ideology, but clear intent to troll rather than discuss is a consideration for exclusion.

Yep...Only a matter of time before Free Speech is no longer deemed acceptable...

Yep free speech will no longer be deemed acceptable when the Gadsden flags marching onward to victory...

Oh, let the fool go where others dare not enter. Apparently this one thinks he has skills. Let him flail away. I want to gut him. Aye! Shiver me timbers

So,JK it is all in the wording, right?

a vote for Obama is not a vote against corporations, it is a vote for lower taxes
a vote for Obama is not a vote against the NRA, it is a vote for the constitutional right to bear arms
a vote for Obama is not a vote against heterosexual marriage, it is a vote for keeping government out of your bedroom
a vote for Obama is not a vote against socialism, it is a vote a strong middle class
a vote for Obama is not a vote against Palestine , it is a vote for Hamas, a terrorist organization, to forgo violence

etc...

Actually, no, I think. It really has just as much if not more to do with personality than platform.

A Republican would frame it this way:

A vote for Romney is not a vote against health care reform, it is a vote for Private Sector Solutions™.
A vote for Romney is not a vote against same-gender marriage, it is a vote for Preserving Traditional Values™.
A vote for Romney is not a vote against unions, it is a vote for The Job Creators™.
A vote for Romney is not a vote against staying out of Iran, it is a vote for Supporting The Troops™.

Election Day 2008, I was more thrilled to cast a vote for Barack Obama and Joe Biden than I was to vote against John McCain and Sarah Palin (though don't get me wrong, it was nice to vote against them). Had Kerry won in 2004, my feeling would have been one of relief. When Obama won in 2008, I had a feeling of elation. Elation is a bigger motivator than relief.

What like KPMG a Halliburton subsidiary, raping the contractor women in Iraq and putting them in roommate situations with guys, then sending them to trailers to be held as prisoners, then denying them their rights because they signed mediation agreements that favored the co.

Yeah that backlash. Those contractor agreements. I agree. Where is the justice? Oh in the hands of the Koch's.

Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of virtually every defense contractor having been caught over the decades double billing, billing unrelated expenses and luxuries to a project, billing expenses for one project to another project with a larger budget, billing for expenses that were not incurred, and in so many other ways stealing in one project and in one year more than every welfare cheat, food stamp fraudster and bogus section 8 client combined can steal in a decade, and still they're retained for the next missile, or satellite or plane or vehicle.

A prominent union leader gets an extra and undeserved $50k on his pension, and these assholes want to kill collective bargaining. But a defense builder bilks that much in a half hour, and they are "patriots" who must be given more, and more, and more.

Is there newer news on this?

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/loca ... 6389.story

Quote:
There may be a glimmer of good news for Wisconsin Democrats despite Tuesday night's convincing win by Republican Scott Walker in the recall race for governor.

After a vote tabulation glitch in Racine County, Democrat John Lehman appears to have come out on top in a state Senate recall that had looked like it was going the way of incumbent Republican Van Wanggard.

will the Dems control the Senate there ?

Sigh..........

Sowing dis-chord here is as simple as NOT AGREEING with the majority of posters here.

I got slapped with "sowing dischord" for simply making a joke because I am not a white apologist in lockstep with the moderators. Im sure this post will either get me banned or at thee very least a 7 to 14 day ban along with "dont feed the trolls" posts.

Open your eyes people! This election in Wisconsin is a wake up call! Obama DID NOT DO what he promised! He didnt do SQUAT to help the folks with the recall bid. He didnt help out because HE KNEW the recall would fail.

How did he know?

Because Scott Walker has done a good job and even the liberals of Wisconsin know it!

The bible says those sowing discord are those feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, one who sows discord among brothers.

I've chosen Joe Shmoe from Kokomo as my pet this election season.
Someone else can have this other punk.

I'm agreeable and happy with that X-ray. Your tools for doing the job are better for working on Joe, and I think mine are more in align for working on this kitten standing atop that aging wooden post.

I tried that "image and imagine" thing in that other thread, to try and work over O'll Joe, but I think it got lost and went completely over his head. :|

Well, when you've finished thinking about it and have it all figured out, you can try again.

Nice assertion but total crap. Now...find us ONE liberal who thinks Walker is "doing a good job." LIBERAL, not Democrat. No liberal is in favor of union busting, just for ONE aspect of this silly-assed "discussion."
